For ponies, mares or geldings, 4yo & over, not exceeding 123cms. For riders U-11.
Marking System: Maximum total 100 points, broken down as follows; Phase One; Jumping Phase – 40 points. Way of Going in Jumping Phase – 20 points. Phase Two; Ride Phase – 20 points. Conformation – 20 points. In the event of a tie, the horse with the overall highest score in Phase One will be the winner. If there is still a tie, the horse with the highest 'Way of Going' score will be the winner. 1st and 2nd placed competitors in Classes 27, 29, 31, 32, 33, 34 and 35 will qualify for the Jim Lilley Working Hunter Final at The Irish Pony Society Summer Championships which will be held on July 31st & August 1st in Mullingar Equestrian Centre. Competitors must be IPS members and ponies registered with the Irish Pony Society prior to championships to be eligible to compete at the final. Re; Stallions entered in these classes; Please note that Stallion Permissions are listed on the Irish Pony Society website and will be updated as applications are received in the office. This list will be checked prior to the date of our show and only animals with correct permissions will be allowed to compete and their entry fee[s] will be forfeited.
Cradle Stakes Class. For ponies, mares or geldings, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 123cms, suitable for and to be ridden by riders who have not attained their 11th birthday on 1st January of current year. This class is a qualifier for IPS Jim Lilley Working Hunter Final. The same combination of pony and rider may only compete in First Ridden and 123cms classes at the same show on the same day.
No entries permitted on day of event.
Rosettes for 1st to 8th place and thereafter, special rosettes will be awarded.
