For Ponies, 4 years old and over to be ridden side saddle by riders under 20 on 1st January on ponies not exceeding 153cm.
Rules;
The class shall be judged on manners, conformation, way of going, and rider’s ability.
Riders must wear an approved harnessed hat.
A Side Saddle Ireland Rosette will be presented to the 4 highest placed menbers of the Side Saddle Association of Ireland [SSI] in this class BUT you do not have to be a member of that Association to enter and compete.
A Best Rider Rosette will be presented to the "Best Rider" among those SSI members.

Aim: To promote, present and preserve the art of side-saddle riding
Showing Ireland points can be collected at Clonmel Show for their Points Awards league 2024. The riders wishing to take part will have to register with Showing Ireland before they can collect points. It is therefore very important to declare the Rider when completing your entry. Clonmel Show will confirm the results to Showing Ireland post-show.
