12: Veteran Horse Class
For mares or geldings, 15+, exceeding 153cms.
Ridden Veteran Horse Class. For mares or geldings, exceeding 153cms. Horses to have attained the age of 15 years on 1st January in the current year. Rider to have attained their 14th birthday by 1st January of the current year. Marked 50% for manner, way of going, movement, 50% for presentation, condition, type, suppleness for age.They will not be penalised within the marking system for signs of previous injury provided that they have completely recovered and are showing no signs of discomfort. Judges do not ride animals. This Class is presently scheduled for Ring 5. However, the Committee reserve the right to move this class to a larger ring should the number of entries warrant it.
